Interactive map shows income/rent data in NYC. Totally fascinating. (found via swissmiss.)
Heard this news story on my way to work this morning. A man found boxes of photos of New Orleans in the 20s and 30s in his reclusive neighbor’s house when he bought it after the photographer died. No one knew the man even took photos. I wish they had some examples on their site, though.
I loved this story on NPR this morning. Made me feel justified in my recent audiobook love. Also reminded me to look up some Neil Gaiman audiobooks.
A cowboy uses his free hand for balance « Flickr Blog | I love these photos from rodeos.
I never thought I would enjoy rodeos. I was the girl who hated country music and country dancing and basically anything that screamed country except for the countryside. But after attending a few rodeos while serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Montana, I completely changed my mind. (Well, except that I still don’t love country music.)
